From Caernarfon direction.
Entering Pwllheli on the A499 pass the BP garage on the right-hand side, carry on down the hill to the roundabout. Go straight across the roundabout – follow the road round then keep right (ignore the through-traffic sign) and go up the High Street.
At the end of the High Street, with Lloyds Bank on the left, turn right (again ignoring the through-traffic sign) and bear left up the hill with Salem Chapel on the right.
At the top of the hill keep left at the ‘Y’ junction. Travel down the, passing a small terrace on the left, and over a little bridge – there are two white cottages on either side of hill.
After the sharp left bend, we are the first turning on the left with a public footpath sign pointing down the lane.
From Criccieth/Porthmadog direction.
Entering Pwllheli from the A497, travel along Abererch Road until you reach the roundabout.
Turn left at the roundabout and follow the road round. Bear right up the High Street (ignore the through-traffic sign) and follow instructions as above.
IMPORTANT
If you are using a sat nav (e.g. Garmin, TomTom or similar), please make sure you follow the BEST ROUTE above as some sat nav devices advise you to turn right down a single track route BEFORE reaching Pwllheli!
